Comparing 
Monsters



Add the provided template to your Seesaw account adding labels in the provided area on the left hand side for the following words: more, less, and  equal. Instruct students to select the Three Magic Buttons to copy and edit the template. 
Allow students to work with a partner. Select student who's iPad will be used for task. Give each set of partners a die. Explain to students that one partner will roll the die and place that amount of eyes on thier monster by adding  emojis or drawing. Allow the other partner to roll and add eyes. Together they will determine which labels will be used to compare their monster.  Submit in Seesaw. 

Spooky Comparisons 

Using Pic Kids have students access the speech to voice option within the app's web search feature to find an image of a haunted house. Have students select the image>double tap the image>select set as background. Instruct students to select 2 different seasonal (Halloween) stickers to use for this activity. Give students a die. Have them roll and duplicate (double tap sticker and select duplicate) sticker to match sum. Roll again and duplicate sticker to match sum. Instruct students to use text feature to type corresponding numbers and the words more, less, or equal. Upload to camera roll by selecting done and clicking the check mark. Can be uploaded to Seesaw.
