Pic Collage has empowered my students and allowed them to
be creative and show what they know. I strive for my little learners to be successful
with implementing technology. A way to do so is offering templates set as the background within the application Pic Collage. Though Primary aged students are
very capable of using technology in the classroom, they often need defined areas
to show their thinking. If you are wondering how this is done check
out the steps below.
I prefer to send templates to my students via Seesaw. Select the image and select the green submit button until the image shows in the feed view. Once in the feed view students will select the image and upload to their camera roll. Airdrop is also a great way to send images to students as well. Once saved to their camera roll students will be able to access within Pic Collage to set as background using steps above.

Hi Brittany, this really sounds cool! I’m in occupational therapist working with children with special needs from pre-k to 5th and also some high school students with special needs. I’m trying to see how I could potentially use this with my kindergarten through fifth grade writers. I have heard of seesaw but don't use it or know anything much about it. I also have not used pic collage but I’m going to do a little research and see what I can come up with. I’ll probably be back in touch with some questions! Any wat to get kids more into creativity and writing is awesome!
ReplyDeleteI’m just trying to see how to use the Pic Collage in the Pic EDU. How did you get the image of the students in the ladybug if I was a ladybug to have the round head and not just a regular square or rectangular small picture of their face? Thx for your help. Thank goodness it’s summer and I can practice this so I’ll be ready before the school year starts at the end of July!
